Why is my Audi A3 producing a knocking sound?

Recently, I have noticed that my Audi A3 is producing a knocking sound while driving. I'm not sure what could be causing it. Any ideas?

One possible cause could be that your engine oil levels are low. Make sure to check and top off your oil if needed. If the knocking sound persists, it may be a sign of a more serious issue and you should bring your car to a mechanic.

It could also be a problem with your spark plugs. You may need to replace them if they are worn out. This can sometimes cause knocking sounds in vehicles.

Another potential cause is a worn out belt in the engine. This can create a knocking sound if it is loose or damaged. Get it checked out by a professional mechanic to determine if it needs to be replaced.
