Why is my Audi A3 making strange noises when turning?

I've noticed that my Audi A3 is making some unusual noises when I turn the steering wheel. It almost sounds like a grinding or clicking noise. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

This type of noise can be caused by a few different issues, such as a loose or worn out belt, a problem with the power steering system, or an issue with the suspension. I would recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to have it diagnosed and repaired.

I have experienced this issue with my own Audi A3 and it turned out to be a problem with the power steering pump. I would suggest checking the power steering fluid level and if it's low, topping it off or having it flushed and refilled. If that doesn't solve the issue, it's best to have a professional take a look.
