Why is my Audi A3 making a squeaking noise?

Recently, my Audi A3 has been making a squeaking noise whenever I turn the steering wheel or go over bumps. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Hi Evan, the squeaking noise is most likely caused by worn out suspension components or dry/rusted ball joints. It's important to get this checked out and replaced as soon as possible, as it can affect the handling and safety of your car. I suggest taking your A3 to a trusted mechanic for a thorough inspection and repair.

Hey Evan, another potential cause could be worn out brake pads or rotors. These should be replaced every 50,000 miles or so, so it's worth checking to see if they are due for replacement. If that's the case, you can either do it yourself or take it to a mechanic.

Hi Evan, have you recently driven through any deep puddles or flooded areas? The squeaking noise could be caused by water getting into your wheel bearings. If that's the case, they will need to be replaced. I recommend taking your car to a mechanic to have them properly inspected.
