Why is my Audi 80 making a strange noise when turning?

I recently noticed that my Audi 80 makes a strange noise when I turn the steering wheel. It seems to be coming from the front end of the car. What could be causing this and should I be concerned?

It is likely that the noise is coming from a worn out power steering pump or a loose belt. I would recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to have it checked out. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Another possible cause could be a loose or worn out wheel bearing. This could be a safety hazard if not addressed, so it is important to have it checked by a professional.

If you are hearing a clicking or grinding noise, it could be due to worn out CV joints. These are important for the proper function of your vehicle's steering and suspension, so it's best to have them inspected and replaced if necessary.
