Why is my Audi 80 making a clicking sound when I turn the key?

My Audi 80 has recently started making a clicking sound when I turn the key in the ignition. It seems to be coming from under the hood. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It is possible that the clicking sound is coming from a faulty starter motor. I recommend taking your car to a mechanic to have it checked and replaced if necessary.

Another potential cause of the clicking sound could be a dead battery. Try jump-starting your car or replacing the battery with a new one.

You may also want to check the connections to your battery and starter motor to make sure they are tight and clean. Loose or corroded connections can also cause a clicking sound.
