Why is my Audi 80 engine making a clunking noise?

I recently noticed that my Audi 80's engine is making a loud clunking noise. It seems to happen more when I am accelerating. What could be causing this and is it something I should be worried about?

Hi there Samantha, the clunking noise you're hearing could be caused by a few different things. It could be an issue with the exhaust system, a problem with the suspension, or even a loose engine mount. If you're comfortable doing so, you can try to check these components yourself to see if anything looks out of place. Otherwise, it's best to take your car to a trusted mechanic for a proper diagnosis and repair.

Hey Samantha, it's hard to pinpoint the exact cause of the clunking noise without seeing the car in person. However, based on your description, it could be a problem with the transmission. I would recommend taking it to a professional as soon as possible to avoid any potential damage or safety concerns.
