Why does the Audi A1 have a smaller engine compared to other luxury cars?

I've noticed that the Audi A1 has a 1.0 TFSI engine while other luxury cars have bigger engines. Does this affect its performance?

The Audi A1's smaller engine size is actually for better fuel efficiency and lower emissions. So while it may not have as much power, it still performs well and has a positive impact on the environment.

Having a smaller engine doesn't necessarily mean poorer performance. The Audi A1 is designed to balance power and fuel efficiency, so you can still experience a smooth and enjoyable ride.

A smaller engine means less weight, which can improve the overall handling and agility of the car. And with modern technology, the Audi A1's 1.0 TFSI engine can still pack quite a punch!
