My Audi A3 has recently started making a squeaking noise when I drive. It seems to be coming from the engine area. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

The squeaking noise could be caused by a number of things, such as a loose belt, worn out bearings, or a faulty pulley. I recommend taking your car to a mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue.

If the noise only occurs when you turn the steering wheel, it could be a problem with the power steering pump. I suggest having it checked by a professional to avoid any potential safety hazards.

C

Check the air conditioning compressor and blower motor to see if they are functioning properly. These components can also cause squeaking noises if they are not working correctly.
