Why does my Audi A3 have a rattling noise when accelerating?

I recently purchased an Audi A3 and have noticed a slight rattling noise when I accelerate. It doesn't seem to affect the performance of the car, but I'm wondering if it's something I should be concerned about and get checked out.

This is a common issue with Audi A3s and is typically due to loose heat shields near the exhaust. It's not a major mechanical issue, but it can be annoying. My mechanic tightened the heat shields on my A3 and the rattling stopped.
