Why does my Audi A2 engine stall when I release the gas pedal?

I own a 2002 Audi A2 with a 1.4L FSI engine. Recently, I noticed that the engine stalls when I release the gas pedal at low speeds or when the car is idling. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

It could be a problem with the idle control valve or throttle body. Take your car to a certified mechanic to get it checked and repaired.
