Why does my Audi 80's engine stall while idling?

I recently bought a used Audi 80 and have noticed that the engine sometimes stalls while idling, especially when the AC is turned on. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

It is possible that your idle air control valve needs to be cleaned or replaced. This valve is responsible for regulating the air flow into the engine while idling. Try cleaning it first with carburetor cleaner and see if that solves the issue.

Check your spark plugs and ignition coils. Worn out or faulty plugs and coils can cause the engine to stall. Replace them if necessary. Additionally, make sure your fuel filter and air filter are not clogged.
