Why does my Audi 80 make a clunking noise when turning?

I've noticed that whenever I turn sharply in my Audi 80, it makes a loud clunking noise. Is this a cause for concern? What could be causing this issue?

There could be several reasons for this noise. One possibility is that your sway bar links or bushings are worn out and need to be replaced. Another possibility is that your suspension components are loose and need to be tightened. It's best to take your car to a trusted mechanic for a thorough inspection and repair if needed.

I had the same issue with my Audi 80. It turned out to be a problem with the power steering system. Make sure to check the fluid levels and the condition of the power steering pump. It may need to be replaced if it's causing the noise.

I experienced a similar noise in my Audi 80 and it turned out to be a problem with the CV joints. They were worn out and needed to be replaced. Have your mechanic inspect the CV joints and replace them if necessary.
