I just got my hands on a 1996 Audi 80 sedan and I'm not sure what the optimal tire pressure should be. Can someone please assist?
ReplyAccording to the owner's manual for the Audi 80, the recommended tire pressure is 32 psi for the front tires and 29 psi for the rear tires. It is important to frequently check and maintain proper tire pressure for optimal performance and safety on the road.
If you prefer a firmer ride, you can increase the tire pressure to 34 psi for the front and 31 psi for the rear tires. Just make sure not to exceed the maximum pressure indicated on the tire sidewall. Remember to adjust the pressure according to the temperature and driving conditions.
As a general rule, the tire pressure should be checked and adjusted every month or every 1,000 miles. It is a good idea to invest in a reliable tire pressure gauge and keep it in your car for regular maintenance. And always check the pressure when the tires are cold for accurate readings.
