What is the cause of excessive vibration in the Audi 80 steering wheel?

Whenever I drive my Audi 80, there is a noticeable vibration in the steering wheel, especially at high speeds. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

This could be caused by worn out suspension components or unbalanced tires. Have a mechanic check the suspension and replace any worn parts. It may also be a good idea to get your tires balanced and rotated.
