I have noticed that my Audi 80 is consuming a lot of oil lately. What could be the potential causes for this issue and how can I address it?

One possible reason for high oil consumption in an Audi 80 is worn piston rings. If the rings are worn, they can't properly seal the combustion chamber and prevent oil from leaking into it.
