I've been considering buying a Audi A3 but I'm not sure which version to choose. Is it worth paying extra for the Quattro all-wheel drive system, or is the FrontTrak front-wheel drive enough for everyday driving? Can anyone share their experience with these options?
ReplyI've had both the Quattro and FrontTrak versions of the A3, and I would highly recommend going for the Quattro if budget allows. The all-wheel drive provides better traction and handling, especially in wet or snowy conditions.
As an Audi salesman, I can tell you that it really depends on your driving habits and the weather in your area. If you live in a place with mild weather and mostly drive on paved roads, the FrontTrak should suffice. But if you encounter harsher weather or prefer a sportier, more responsive drive, the Quattro is definitely worth the extra cost.
I have owned an Audi A3 Quattro for over 5 years now, and I cannot recommend it enough. The added stability and grip on slippery roads is invaluable, and it's also great for cornering and spirited driving. If you have the option, go for the Quattro for sure.
