Hi John, generally brake pads should be replaced every 30,000 to 70,000 miles depending on your driving habits. As for the type of brake pads, it's best to go with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) pads specifically designed for your Audi A3. They may cost a bit more, but they will provide the best performance and compatibility with your vehicle.

Hey John, if you're hearing squeaking noises while braking it's definitely time to replace your brake pads. As for the type of pads, you could go with standard ceramic pads which offer good performance and durability. Alternatively, if you're into performance driving, you may want to consider upgrading to performance brake pads which offer better stopping power.

Hello John, regular brake pad maintenance is crucial for the safety of your vehicle and its passengers. Depending on your driving conditions, you may need to replace them more frequently. Also, make sure to inspect your brake pads regularly for any signs of wear and tear. If you notice uneven wear or excessive brake dust, it's a sign that you may need to replace them soon.
