Is it normal for my Audi 80 to have trouble starting in cold weather?

I recently purchased a used Audi 80 and have noticed that it has trouble starting on very cold mornings. Is this something I should be concerned about, or is it a common issue with this model?

Hi Alexa, it is not uncommon for older cars, like the Audi 80, to experience difficulties starting in cold weather. One solution would be to use a block heater to warm up the engine before attempting to start it. It's also important to make sure your battery is in good condition and has enough power to start the car in colder temperatures. If the issue persists, it may be worth having a mechanic take a look to ensure there are no underlying issues causing the problem.
