Is it necessary to periodically service a Throttle Body on an Audi A3?

I've noticed that my Audi A3 has been lacking in power and seems to have a rough idle. Could it be due to a dirty or faulty Throttle Body? And if so, how often should it be serviced?

Hi Lucas, a dirty or faulty Throttle Body can definitely cause a decrease in performance and rough idle. It is recommended to service it every 60,000 miles or sooner if necessary. Regular maintenance can ensure optimal performance and prevent potentially costly repairs.
