How to Troubleshoot a Faulty Fuel Pump in an Audi 80

I've noticed that my Audi 80 is having issues starting and often stalls while driving. I suspect it may be a faulty fuel pump. How can I troubleshoot this issue?

First, check the fuel pump relay and fuse as these are common culprits for fuel pump issues. If they are fine, check the fuel pressure using a fuel pressure gauge. Low pressure may indicate a faulty fuel pump.
