I have a 2005 Audi 80 1.8L and I'm looking to replace the spark plugs. What is the proper procedure for this and are there any specific tools I will need?

To replace the spark plugs on your Audi 80 1.8L, first ensure you have a spark plug socket and ratchet, as well as a gap tool and dielectric grease. Then, disconnect the battery and remove the plastic cover on top of the engine. Use the spark plug socket to remove the old plugs, being careful not to damage the threads. Check the gap on the new plugs before installing with the grease. Reconnect the battery and you're all set!

Make sure to let the engine cool before attempting to replace the spark plugs on your Audi 80 1.8L. Remove one spark plug at a time to avoid mixing up the wires. Don't forget to use the dielectric grease on the boots of the new plugs to ensure a good connection. And don't overtighten the plugs - just snug is enough.
