How to replace the ignition switch in an Audi 80

I bought a used Audi 80 and the ignition switch is faulty. I need to replace it but am not sure how to do it properly. Any advice and guidance would be appreciated.

The first step is to disconnect the negative battery cable, and then remove the steering wheel, column covers, and turn signal switch. After that, you should be able to access and replace the ignition switch easily.
