I've noticed that my headlights aren't performing as well as they used to. How can I adjust them for better visibility in different driving conditions?

To adjust your headlights, find the adjustment screws located on the back of the headlight assembly. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to turn the screws and adjust the height and aim of the headlights. Make sure to do this in a dark area and aim for the headlights to hit about 100 feet in front of your vehicle. As for different driving conditions, I recommend adjusting your headlights to aim slightly lower during wet or snowy conditions.

Before adjusting your headlights, make sure your tires are properly inflated as this can affect the aim of your headlights. Additionally, check the condition of your headlights and replace them if they are foggy or cracked. For best results, use a headlight aiming tool to ensure your headlights are aligned correctly.

Another option for improving headlight visibility is to upgrade your bulbs to a higher wattage or switch to LED bulbs. Just make sure to check your state's regulations for legal wattage limits.
