How do you change the alternator on an Audi 80?

I need to replace the alternator in my Audi 80, but I am not familiar with this specific car model. Can someone provide me with step-by-step instructions on how to change the alternator?

First, disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Then, locate the alternator in the engine bay - it is usually on the side of the engine and has a belt running through it.
