I have a 1990 Audi 80 and it keeps stalling while I'm driving. It seems to happen randomly, and I can't figure out what the problem is. Any advice?
ReplyHi Maria, stalling can be caused by a variety of issues such as a faulty fuel pump, a clogged fuel filter, or a faulty ignition coil. I would recommend checking these components first and seeing if any of them need to be replaced.
Hi Maria, another common cause of stalling is a dirty or faulty mass air flow sensor. I would suggest cleaning or replacing this component as well.
Hi Maria, have you noticed any specific patterns or triggers for when the stalling occurs? It might help narrow down the possible causes. Also, if you have any check engine lights on, getting the codes scanned can also provide some insight.
