How do I fix my Audi A3's engine misfiring issue?

I have a 2015 Audi A3 with an engine that is misfiring. The check engine light is on and the car is running rough. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

First, check the spark plugs and ensure they are all in good condition. It's possible that one or more of them are worn out and need to be replaced. You can also check the ignition coils to see if they are properly functioning. If those are both fine, then it's likely a fuel delivery issue. Check the fuel filter and fuel injectors to see if they need to be replaced. It's also a good idea to check the air filter and make sure it's not clogged.

Make sure to also check the wiring and connections for the coils and sensors. Loose or damaged wires can cause misfires. If everything checks out with the ignition and fuel systems, it's possible that the issue is with the engine itself. A mechanic should be able to run diagnosis tests to pinpoint the exact cause of the misfire and provide a solution.

I had this same issue with my Audi A3 and it turned out to be a faulty crankshaft position sensor. The car was running rough and had a lot of difficulty starting. Replacing the sensor solved the problem. So it's worth checking that as well.
