How do I enable Android Auto on my 2020 Audi A3?

I just purchased a 2020 Audi A3 and I am unable to connect my phone using Android Auto. I've checked all the settings and it appears to be enabled, but I'm still not able to use it. What steps do I need to take to enable it?

To enable Android Auto on your 2020 Audi A3, first make sure your phone is compatible and has the latest version of the Android Auto app installed. Then, go to the Audi MMI menu and select the 'Smartphone' option. From there, you can select 'Android Auto' and follow the on-screen prompts to connect your phone.

I had the same issue with my 2020 Audi A3. I found that I needed to update the MMI software in my car for Android Auto to work properly. After I did that, it connected seamlessly. Make sure to check for any updates or contact your Audi dealership for assistance.

If you've already checked your phone, MMI settings, and updated the software, it could be an issue with the USB cable you're using. Try using a different cable and see if that resolves the issue. Sometimes, using a cable that is not compatible can cause issues with Android Auto connectivity.
