ReplyTo check the transmission fluid, park your car on a level surface and wait for it to cool down. Then locate the transmission dipstick, pull it out and wipe it clean. Reinsert it and pull it out again to check the fluid level. If it's below the recommended level, add the appropriate type of transmission fluid.
