How do I check my Audi 80's oil level?

I recently purchased an Audi 80 and I want to make sure I am properly maintaining it. How do I check and monitor the oil level in my car?

Then, reinsert it into its tube and pull it out again. The oil level should be between the two marked lines. If the oil is below the lower line, it is time for an oil change.
