How do I change the timing belt in an Audi 80?

I have an Audi 80 and it's about time to change the timing belt. I've never done it before, how do I go about it?

Changing the timing belt in an Audi 80 is a pretty straightforward process, but it does require some specialized tools. Before starting, make sure you have a timing belt tensioner tool, camshaft locking tool, and crankshaft locking tool. Once you have those, follow these steps:

First, remove the engine covers and expose the timing belt area. Next, use the tensioner tool to release the tension on the belt and remove it from the pulleys. Then, use the locking tools to hold the camshaft and crankshaft in place while you remove the old timing belt and install the new one. Finally, use the tensioner tool again to put tension on the new belt and double check your work before putting the engine covers back on.
