How do I change the tail lights on my Audi A3?

I have noticed that one of the tail lights on my Audi A3 is not working properly. How do I replace the tail light and what type of bulb do I need? Any tips or recommendations?

Replacing the tail lights on an Audi A3 is a relatively simple process. Start by removing the plastic cover on the inside of the trunk, then locate the back of the tail light and twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it. You'll need to replace the bulb with a specific type that matches the wattage and size listed in your owner's manual. Once the new bulb is in, reattach the socket and plastic cover. If you're uncomfortable doing this yourself, it's always best to consult a professional mechanic.

I had the same issue with my Audi A3 and found that it was a quick and easy fix. Before replacing the bulb, try cleaning the contacts on the socket and bulb with rubbing alcohol. Sometimes debris or corrosion can prevent a proper connection, causing the light to not work. If that doesn't solve the issue, then you may need to replace the bulb.
