How can I fix the grinding noise in my Audi 80's brakes?

I recently noticed a grinding noise coming from my Audi 80's brakes when I apply pressure. It seems to be getting worse over time. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It's possible that there is an issue with your brake pads, causing them to wear down and grind against the rotor. I would recommend having a mechanic inspect your brakes and replace any worn out parts.

Another cause of grinding noises in brakes is rust or debris on the rotors. This can sometimes be remedied by taking your car for a drive and applying the brakes heavily a few times, which can help to remove any build up. If the noise persists, it's best to have a professional take a look.
