Why are my tires making a squealing noise on my Audi A3?

I recently got an Audi A3 and I've noticed that the tires make a high-pitched squealing noise when I drive. It seems to happen more when I turn or brake. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Most likely, the squealing noise is caused by worn brake pads. Make sure to have them checked and replaced if needed.

R

It could also be due to improper tire pressure. Check your owner's manual for the recommended tire pressure and fill accordingly.

J

If you have recently rotated your tires, check to make sure they were properly tightened. Loose lug nuts can also cause squealing noises.
