The TFSI engine has a fuel efficiency of 27 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway, while the TDI engine has a fuel efficiency of 30 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway.
If you're looking for a more eco-friendly option, the Audi A3 e-tron offers a plug-in hybrid engine with a fuel efficiency of 83 mpg on combined city and highway driving. It also has an EV range of up to 17 miles.
I personally have the 2.0-liter TFSI engine and I've been very happy with its performance and fuel efficiency. I average around 30 mpg on combined driving.
