I recently bought a used 1990 Audi 80 and noticed that the idle speed seems to be too high. Is there a way to manually adjust it without having to take it to a mechanic?
ReplyYou can adjust the idle speed manually by locating the idle air control valve, which is usually found near the throttle body. Turn the valve counterclockwise to decrease the idle speed, or clockwise to increase it. Just make sure to do it in small increments and test the idle speed after each adjustment.
