How to troubleshoot a non-starting Audi 80 engine?

For the past week, my Audi 80's engine has failed to start multiple times. The battery is fine and all the other electrical components seem to be working fine. What steps can I take to diagnose and fix the issue?

First, check the spark plugs and wires for any signs of damage. If they seem fine, try cleaning the connections between the battery and starter. It could also be a faulty starter or ignition switch.

Make sure the fuel pump is working properly by listening for a humming sound when you turn the key to the on position. If there is no sound, it could be a faulty pump or a clogged fuel filter.
