How to enable rear cross traffic alert on Audi A3?

I just purchased a new Audi A3 and noticed that it came with the rear cross traffic alert feature. However, I'm having trouble figuring out how to enable it. Can someone guide me through the steps?

To enable rear cross traffic alert on your Audi A3, first make sure that the feature is activated in the settings menu. Then, when reversing out of a parking spot or driveway, the system will automatically scan for oncoming traffic and warn you if a vehicle is approaching.

You can also activate the rear cross traffic alert by pressing the button on the center console. This will turn the feature on and allow it to scan for any oncoming vehicles while you are in reverse.
