How to check the oil on an Audi A3?

I recently purchased an Audi A3 and want to properly maintain it. Can someone explain how to check the oil on this specific model?

To check the oil on your Audi A3, first make sure the engine is off and the car is on level ground. Locate the oil dipstick, which should have a yellow handle, and pull it out. Wipe the dipstick clean with a cloth or paper towel and reinsert it back into the tube. Pull it out again and check the oil level. If it falls below the minimum line, it's time for an oil change.
