How do I change the ignition control module on my Audi 80?

I need to replace the ignition control module on my Audi 80 but I am not sure how to do it. What steps should I follow and what tools do I need for this task?

First, disconnect the negative battery cable to avoid any electrical shocks. Then, locate the ignition control module, which is usually attached to the distributor. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the bolts holding the module in place. Once the old module is removed, replace it with the new one and secure it with the bolts.
