What is the difference between Audi A2 1.4 TDI and 1.6 FSI?

I am considering between buying an Audi A2 with a 1.4 TDI engine or a 1.6 FSI engine. What are the main technical differences between these two options and how will they affect the performance and fuel efficiency? Any advice on which one to choose?

Based on my experience with Audi A2s, I would recommend going for the 1.4 TDI engine. Although it has a slightly lower engine power compared to the 1.6 FSI, it is more fuel-efficient and has better torque, making it more suitable for city driving. You'll also save on fuel costs in the long run.

I personally prefer the 1.6 FSI engine. It offers better performance, especially on highways and long drives. However, it is less fuel-efficient compared to the 1.4 TDI. If you prioritize driving experience over fuel economy, then the 1.6 FSI would be a better choice.

In terms of technical differences, the 1.4 TDI has a diesel engine while the 1.6 FSI has a petrol engine. The 1.4 TDI also has a smaller engine size and lower CO2 emissions. It ultimately depends on your driving needs and preferences.
