How do I activate the adaptive cruise control in my Audi A1?

I've read about the technology but I can't seem to find how to turn it on in my car. Can someone guide me through the steps?

To activate the adaptive cruise control in your Audi A1, first make sure your car is in drive mode. Then, press the 'ACC' button on your steering wheel. You'll see a green 'ACC' light appear on your dashboard, indicating that the system is now active. From there, use the controls on your steering wheel to set your desired speed and distance from the car in front of you.

I found it a bit confusing at first as well, but to activate the adaptive cruise control in your Audi A1, simply press and hold the 'ACC' button on your steering wheel for an additional 2 seconds after turning it on. This will enable the 'ACC' light to turn from green to white, indicating that the system has been fully activated.

If you're still having trouble activating the adaptive cruise control, make sure that you are pressing the 'ACC' button and not the 'Resume' button. The 'Resume' button is used to return to a previously set speed and distance, rather than initiating the system. If you're still unsure, check your car's manual for more detailed instructions.
