To reset the tire pressure monitoring system in an Audi A6, start by switching the ignition on. Next, press the 'CAR' button followed by 'MENU' on the control panel. Select 'Servicing & checks', then 'Tire pressure loss indicator', and finally 'Store pressures' to reset the system.

If the above method doesn't work, try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This will often reset the system. Just be sure to have your radio code handy as you will need it to unlock the radio once the battery is reconnected.

Another method to reset the tire pressure monitoring system in an Audi A6 is to use a diagnostic tool. This will allow you to view any error codes and clear them, eliminating the problem causing the light to appear.
