I recently changed my oil on my Audi A7 and the reminder is still showing on my dashboard. How do I reset it?
ReplyTo reset the oil change reminder on your Audi A7, start by turning the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine. Next, press the CAR button on your center console, then navigate to the Service & Checks menu. Scroll down to Service Display and press the right arrow button. From here, you can select the oil change reminder and reset it by pressing and holding the OK button.
Another way to reset the oil change reminder on your Audi A7 is to use the Vag Com diagnostic tool. Simply plug it into the OBD port under your dashboard and follow the prompts to reset the service reminder. Make sure to use the correct protocol for your specific vehicle.
If your Audi A7 is equipped with an electronic oil level sensor, you can reset the oil change reminder by checking your oil level and ensuring it is within the acceptable range. If not, top off as needed and the reminder should automatically reset.
