How often should I change the oil in my car?

I have a 2017 Honda Civic and I'm wondering how often I should change the oil for optimal performance and engine health.

It's recommended to change your oil every 5,000-7,500 miles for newer cars like yours. This can vary depending on your driving habits and the type of oil you use.

Some mechanics may suggest changing your oil every 3,000 miles, but this is not necessary for newer cars with better oil and engine technology.

I personally change my oil every 5,000 miles to be safe, but I also use synthetic oil which can last longer.
