How does the Virtual Cockpit display system in the Audi A4 work?

I've heard about the Virtual Cockpit in Audi's latest A4 model, but I'm not sure exactly how it functions. Can someone explain this feature in more detail?

The Virtual Cockpit is a fully digital display system that replaces traditional analog gauges and gives you a customizable view of your car's vital information. It uses a high-resolution 12.3-inch screen behind the steering wheel to show things like speed, navigation directions, and audio controls.

Unlike traditional instrument clusters, the Virtual Cockpit lets you choose between two different layouts - a classic view with large speedometer and tachometer dials, or an infotainment view that displays things like maps, media, and phone settings. You can switch between these views using the steering wheel controls.

Keep in mind that the Virtual Cockpit only comes as standard on higher trim levels of the Audi A4, so make sure to check if it's included before making your purchase. Additionally, you can use voice commands to navigate through the system, making it easier to use while on the road.
