How does Audi's regenerative braking work in their e-Tron vehicles?

I've seen that e-Tron cars have regenerative braking, but I'm not sure how it works. Does it fully recharge the battery? How does it differ from traditional braking systems?

Audi's regenerative braking system captures energy that would typically be lost during braking and stores it in the battery. It can partially recharge the battery but not fully, as it also needs to power the car's systems. This is more efficient than traditional braking systems, as it reduces energy waste.
