My maintenance indicator has been on for over a month now. How can I reset it without going to the dealership?
ReplyYou can easily reset the maintenance indicator yourself by following these steps: 1. Turn off the ignition. 2. Press and hold the trip reset button. 3. While holding the button, turn on the ignition. 4. Continue to hold the button until the display shows "Service INSP". 5. Release the button and press it again to reset the indicator.
I had the same issue with my Audi A2 and was able to reset the maintenance indicator by using a diagnostic tool. If you don't have one, you can try asking your local auto shop if they could do it for you.
