How do I reset the automatic windows on my 2019 Audi A5?

Recently, my power windows on my 2019 Audi A5 have not been responding to the automatic function. The manual function still works, but I prefer the convenience of automatic. Is there a way to reset the automatic function?

The first thing to check is if the automatic windows have been turned off. On your car's control panel, look for a button with a picture of a window and an up/down arrow. Make sure it is turned on. Another possible issue could be a blown fuse, so it's worth checking your fuse box as well. If all else fails, bring it to a mechanic for further inspection.

I had the same issue with my A5 and was able to fix it by recalibrating the windows. To do this, start by turning the ignition to the 'on' position but do not start the car. Then hold down the driver's side window switch in the 'up' position until the window reaches the top and hold for an additional 2 seconds. Release the button and then hold it down in the 'down' position until the window reaches the bottom and hold for an additional 2 seconds. Repeat this process for the passenger window as well. This should reset the automatic function.

If the above methods do not work, there may be an issue with the window motor or regulator. It's best to bring your car to a certified Audi dealership or mechanic for proper diagnosis and repair. Attempting to fix it yourself could cause further damage and end up costing you more in the long run.
