I recently purchased an Audi A1 and want to know the proper procedure for changing the oil and filter. Could someone provide me with a step-by-step guide?

First, make sure you have all the necessary tools and supplies, including an oil filter wrench and the recommended type of oil for your Audi A1. Once you have these, follow these steps:
1. Raise the car using a jack and secure it with jack stands.
2. Locate the oil pan and remove the drain plug to drain the old oil into a container.
3. Once all the old oil is drained, remove the old filter using the oil filter wrench.
