Why won't the touchpad on my Audi A7 work properly?

I've noticed that the touchpad on my Audi A7 is not responding accurately when typing in addresses for navigation or scrolling through menus. Is this a common issue and how can I fix it?

The touchpad on the Audi A7 has been known to be sensitive and might require being recalibrated. To do so, go to Settings -> System -> Touchpad -> Calibrate. This should help improve its accuracy and responsiveness.
